Introduction
The Associate of Applied Science degree combines the technical training of the full Airframe and Powerplant courses with the college's general education requirements to award a degree. Graduates of this program enter the workforce with a license and a degree that is becoming more important for those seeking supervisory positions. Students in the AAS program receive training in the subjects within the Airframe and Powerplant CTSs. They have the option of taking the general education courses during the technical training and finishing in 5 semesters, or they can be taken all together in a separate semester and will take 6 semesters to complete.
