Introduction
Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts
This program uniquely fuses the art and science of cooking with an introduction to critical business management practices. Over the course of six quarters, students receive rigorous culinary training, leadership skills and the positive, collaborative attitude needed to excel in the foodservice world.
At Kendall, we start with the fundamentals, then incorporate advanced culinary techniques and skills. Students practice what they learnin real-world environments beyond the classroom, including the three Kendall restaurants and through mandatory internships. This program also requires the completion of general education coursework, including composition, foreign languages, computer literacy and the humanities.
