Associates of Arts in Human Geography in the USA

An Associate of Arts degree gives students the foundation to their education in liberal arts. The degree is earned after 60 semester hours of college. Classes may include English, history, math, and science. Once the AA is earned, students can proceed to earn a Bachelor’s degree.

Human geography is typically the study of how people affect change on their localized environments, and how the geographic location of specific groups of people affects most facets of life including their economy, community, and cultural values.
