Introduction
Increasing digitalization has generated new employment opportunities in both the business and the IT sectors. Throughout this one-year post-secondary diploma program, you will learn to design and develop user interfaces suitable for a variety of different platforms including websites, mobile applications, and data-driven information systems to work in the rapidly growing tech sector in Canada.
The User Experience and Interactive Design with Co-op program will equip you with the skills needed to enter a range of different roles including: Web Developer, Web Manager, Corporate Webmaster, Internet Site Designer, and Webmaster.
For individuals wanting to start their careers as a developer, this program is ideal. Not only will you gain the skills needed to tackle some of the most complex challenges in the industry, but through practical work experience you will discover which roles are best suited to your abilities.
By the end of the program, students will be able to design and evaluate a variety of user interfaces, use prototypes to get feedback from stakeholders as well as incorporate design thinking principles into a wide variety of IT projects.

Admission Requirements:
- Good command of the English language
- A high school diploma or equivalent from an approved government of the applicant's home country, or the applicant is minimum 19 years of age
- Students are required to bring their own computers to class
English Language Requirements:
Applicant must attain one of the following English language requirements:
- Successful completion of CCTB EAP (English for Academic Purposes) Level 4 or
- Have the required IELTS 5.5 score or equivalent or
- Pass the CCTB English Assessment (Written on-site or online with the exam proctor)
