Whether you are already working in the industry, studying acting in college, or still in high school, our four-week Summer Intensive Training programs are built to offer you the personalized training you need. Our courses in Acting for Film and Television or Musical Theatre Performance enable experienced performers to work on skill-building, and novice performers to sample the life of an actor living and working in New York City. 

The Associate of Arts in Theatre Arts offers a variety of programs of study and experience suited to the needs of serious theatre students as well as those who wish to include theatre as a part of their liberal arts education. With curricula in Acting, Design/Lighting, Costuming, and Technical Production, the program provides an intensive two-year course of study that prepares Theatre Arts majors for transfer to a four-year college or university ready to do advanced upper-division work. Students have the opportunity of working in all phases of production and performance and are encouraged to take on increasing levels of responsibility as stage managers or directors.

Our Level 3 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts (acting) is an internationally recognitions qualification through the University of The Arts London and is included in the UCAS tariff and attracts tariff points for each final grade, which supports University applications. This highly practical course is centred around performance projects aimed at nurturing and enhancing your performance skills.  Students in this course will collaborate with other students across Performing Arts Studio Scotland.

The Prague Film School Acting for Film Program offers an intensive, conservatory-style curriculum instructing both the art and the craft of acting for the camera. While the vast majority of acting courses worldwide train students for theater, it’s screen acting that offers the bulk of career opportunities. It’s also screen acting that allows actors to engage with the largest audiences, across time and geography.

In this summer workshop, students produce several short films together under guidance from industry professionals in Cinematography, Directing Editing, Production, Editing and Sound during four intensive summer weeks in Stockholm. Through practical workshops inspiring seminars and lectures, you will receive the foundations of the filmmaking experience. The first two weeks are focused on short workshops within all disciplines while each student writes scripts, the third week is shooting week, and the final week is postproduction and screening of the film in our cinema.

The Associate in Arts in Theatre Arts for Transfer degree is designed to prepare the student for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education and is specifically intended to satisfy lower-division requirements for a baccalaureate degree in theatre arts at a California State University.

The double course “Acting and directing” at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique – PSL was created in order to offer a limited number of undergraduate students at the Conservatoire the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of performance issues. on stage and writing. This second cycle training is built on the foundations of the current first cycle activity (actor training). The training of actresses ends with the delivery of the “Higher National Professional Actor Diploma” by the Ministry of Culture and Communication” and by obtaining a university degree.

You may or may not have studied GCSE Drama or BTEC Performing Arts but essentially you will be comfortable with: reading and performing, discussing and working with others in a creative team, watching and discussing play performances and writing.
