The Web Development specialization is designed for students interested in pursuing a career as a web professional. Completion of this program option will provide students with the skills needed for entry-level positions as web designers/developers. The Game Development specialization is intended to prepare students for a career or further study in game development. Courses emphasize the specific skills necessary for the design, development, marketing and testing of computer games. Industry standard programming languages and development tools are utilized in this specialization.

Similar to the web and interactive media certificate, this degree provides students with the web development, technical programming, and graphic design skills necessary to build web and multimedia sites. In addition, it includes capstone courses that develop creative and practical skills beyond what is taught in the certificate program, as well as coursework that meets the general education requirements for a Schoolcraft associate in applied science (AAS) degree. The degree strengthens the student’s position in the profession and gives the student an academic credential with a higher standing.

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Illustration and Sequential Art is designed for the student who wishes to develop an area of specialization in illustration and comics and sequential art.

The Monroe Community college's interior design career program offers a solid foundation in the skills and knowledge you will need to design creative and functional interiors for commercial and residential clients.

The Integrated Media: Photography program balances personal artistic development with an intensive focus on technical skills and building commercially-viable sensibilities. Students explore contemporary photographic applications of digital technology: composition, portraiture, digital workflow and media management, studio and location lighting, DSLR video applications, and freelance business practices.

This curriculum provides an in-depth study of professional photographic practices through a two-year sequence in digital photography. Throughout the program, the emphasis is placed on individual creative growth through a combination of general education, visual art, and career preparation.
