Horizon offers courses that include a focus on Pentecostal perspectives of the topic under study. The Graduate Certificate in Pentecostal Studies allows for considerable choice in the courses selected. A recommended program of study for the Graduate Certificate in Pentecostal Studies is: Pentecostal Studies (3 courses) Bible and Theological Studies (2 courses) Open Elective (1 course)

Students will develop the knowledge and competency to be able to understand and implement a basic Access® database. You will be taught how to develop a database project from its inception through to its basic completion. During this class, students will learn how to design and implement tables, forms, and reports. They will also learn how to find any record by utilizing queries.

Power Engineers operate and maintain the complex systems used to operate industrial boilers, pumps, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Demand for skilled power engineers is growing, opening the door to good jobs in the oil patch, mining, manufacturing, power generation utilities, and more.

The ten-week Construction Worker Preparation program is delivered at trade shops in Regina, Prince Albert, Saskatoon, and various community locations. The program includes classroom and hands-on training, life skills training, career planning, and safety tickets. Students can also complete a work practicum and earn 300 hours of trade time credit toward an apprenticeship in Carpentry.

This program provides the opportunity for focused preparation in the area of leadership studies. The 6 graduate courses in this certificate can later be applied to a graduate degree program.

EnRICHed Academy is the first of its kind video-based educational program specifically designed to teach students how to earn, save, invest (through stocks & Real Estate), master credit, and their careers in a way that is totally entertaining and completely easy to absorb.

The 10-week Mining Industry Pre-Employment program is delivered in Regina, Saskatoon, and Yorkton. The program includes classroom training, mine site tours, life skills training, career planning, and safety tickets. Students may also complete a two-week practicum at a mine site.
