If you are interested in a career of helping others to achieve their full potential, by offering assessment and feedback, the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is the right course for you. This Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) is the new RQF qualification (500/9758/1) which replaces the old A1\2 and D32\33 assessor qualification.

After completing the course, you will receive a TLM INGOTS Certification in Enterprise and Open Systems at Entry Level 3 or at Level 1 – whichever is best suited to your skills. You may then choose to progress on to a higher level IT course at College or seek entry level employment- perhaps in office administration or retail.

The Certificate in Professional Studies (Deafblind Studies) course is based on the belief that all people living with deafblindness have a right to be supported by professionals who have the requisite knowledge and skills to provide high-quality service. It has been designed and developed by some of the most experienced practitioners and academics in the field of deafblindness and is enhanced by the inclusion of teaching materials created by those with lived experience of deafblindness.

The NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service (RQF qualification code: 601/7073/6) is designed to provide you with the knowledge you need to enable you to work in a customer focused industry. Excellent customer service is critical to the ongoing success of any company and it is vital for all staff to have an excellent understanding of the principles of customer service.

Before studying English as an Adult Learner, your language skills will need to be assessed. At Joseph Chamberlain College, we offer English classes at Level 1 (Pre-GCSE) and Level 2 (GCSE Equivalent), so we will assess which level is the most suitable starting place for you.

The Y.M.S.C. course is aimed at those already employed in either a paid or voluntary capacity in youth work/ministry/school chaplaincy and can include those who initially undertake a gap year placement in a youth centre, but who often continue into longer-term positions, including leadership.
