You’ll build expertise in creating, implementing, and assessing strengths-oriented programs. You’ll enhance your career by learning to apply these models to careers in higher education. You’ll also benefit from an intensive, two-week model, offered in either January or July.

To apply for graduate admission to Azusa Pacific University, U.S. citizens/permanent residents must submit the following to the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions:

$45 application fee - The application fee must be paid (or waived) before the application can be processed. The application fee is waived for alumni who have earned a degree previously from APU.

Proof of an earned bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or both with a minimum 3.0 GPA from a regionally accredited college or university. Refer to individual program requirements for specific admissions policies and allowances.

All supplemental items required by the applicant’s program.
Submit required program-specific items to complete the graduate application.

International Graduate Admission Requirements

Official transcripts are required for all degrees, certificates, and credentials earned prior to application to APU.

Foreign Transcript Translation and Evaluation

International credentials (transcripts, certificates, diplomas, and degrees) must be translated into English, certified by an authorized official, and include the posted degree. APU requires that international credentials be evaluated by an approved agency, which creates an official Degree/Transcript Equivalency Report, to verify that the international degree is comparable to a degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States. An official copy of this Degree/Transcript Equivalency Report is submitted with a student’s official international credentials for university admission consideration.

A minimum 3.0 grade-point average (GPA) on a 4.0 U.S. scale is required for all international applicants. Some programs require a higher GPA.

Other test score reports (GMAT, GRE, or CBEST) may be required for certain programs.
