Introduction
Who is this course for?
This course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to undertake administrative work across all industries, such as developing work priorities, coordinating customer service strategies, ensuring a safe workplace and producing complex business documents.
Assessment Summary
Theory and practical knowledge skills are assessed within a classroom, simulated workplace environment providing access to the required resource identified in the unit of competency assessment conditions and reflect the business services environment. Students will also be required to complete assessment tasks in their own time.
Assessment is completed using a range of assessment methods. Assessment methods will cover written questions, scenarios, projects, observations, and presentations.
Learning Outcomes
This qualification aims to equip participants with business, managerial, marketing and human resource management skills.
Graduates may pursue a business career in a public or private sector, in roles as an administrator, a project officer, or a business owner.
Delivery Mode
For each unit, students will be required to attend face to face classes, and complete self-paced activities and assessment tasks.
Pathways
Students who successfully complete the assessment requirements for BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management will be issued with a certificate or a Statement of Attainment for a partially completed qualification.
Students may go onto complete other advanced diploma courses or progress to undergraduate study specifications.
Timetable
Day Timetables will consist of 4 sessions delivered in 2 days + self-directed learning:
Day 1
(Session 1) 9:00AM – 1:00PM
(Session 2) 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Day 2
(Session 1) 9:00AM – 1:00PM
(Session 2) 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
*Please note that the timetable is subject to change. FOCUS reserves the right to make adjustments to the timetable of all its classes to best suit the academic requirements of the programs. Each VET batch in a course has been allocated with space for 16 hours per week. The 4-hour self-directed learning may take place on campus or off campus. Students may use the computer lab space or classroom space based on availability.
