Introduction
Do you find yourself staring up at the stars with a sense of wonder? The Solar System and Beyond is a fun and informative course for those fascinated by our solar system's mysteries. The course will feature an exploration of Earth, the solar system, stars, and galaxies. Open to all - no previous science knowledge required.
Excellent attendance and punctuality are required for all students. This course requires some study/completion of activities outside of class time. The course will be offered fully online using MS Teams.
A series of interactive and engaging sessions delivered by a subject specialist in Physics. This course will be delivered as an online course. The online sessions will be offered using Microsoft Teams. You will learn through lectures, problem-solving, videos, and discussion. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above. At the start of the course, you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and your own future goals, i.e., progression to an advanced- level course.
