University of Northampton International College

UNIC provides a helping hand to international students, whose current grades do not meet the University’s degree entry requirement or have a qualification that is not recognised within the university.

We help by providing an academic springboard to the University of Northampton, providing Foundation, First Year and Pre-Masters programmes across a wide range of subjects.

Our foundation courses lead to a Bachelor’s degree upon completion and are for 2 semesters, whilst Pre-masters are for one semester only and lead to a Masters course.

Furthermore, if your application is successful you are issued with one, combined CAS, with one visa covering you for the duration of your UNIC and UON study.

Where

UNIC is located on the University of Northampton’s Avenue Campus, close to the centre of Northampton and in the very heart of England, only one hour by train from central London and Birmingham.

UNIC has excellent facilities including a Student Hub, Learning Technology suite and classrooms all purposely furnished for teaching and learning.

Student Experience

UNIC has a dedicated Student Services team based in the College. As well as dealing with any queries or questions you may have they also organise regular social events such as film nights, football tournaments and quizzes. As a UNIC student, you also have full access to all the University of Northampton events and facilities. The University of Northampton Students' Union is one of only three unions in the country that have all clubs, sports and societies FREE to join for all students.

UNIC has three intakes a year - January, May or September.

The University of Northampton has 15,000 students, with 1,000 international students from more than 100 countries. UNIC alone has enrolled students from over 30 different countries in the last year.
