Now all courses have been divided by modules and each module is a new unique course, with no requirements or established order. You can take the course you want, obtain a micro-certificate for each course completed and expand your portfolio of skills in our Certificates platform. Some of our courses are part of a Series of courses in which you will earn a certificate.

The Graduate Diploma in Second Language Teaching (GDipSLT) grounds second language teachers in the knowledge and theories of Linguistics. It can be completed in two semesters of full-time study. Although not a formal teaching qualification, it is nationally and internationally recognised as a complementary professional Program of study. It is designed for four groups of students: language teachers in schools and colleges; registered teachers who plan to work overseas; international teachers of English as a second language; and tertiary education staff who teach a foreign language.

CELTA is an initial qualification for people with little or no previous teaching experience and opens up a whole world of exciting teaching opportunities.

CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is an initial teacher training qualification for teaching English as a second or foreign language (ESL and EFL). It is recognised as a Level 5 Qualification by the British Curriculum Authority so it follows an authorised syllabus.

Our Mandarin courses are held in the afternoons or evenings at Langports and are delivered by Lyrebird Language Centre teachers who have many years of experience.

Our online TEFL TESOL courses do not include a teaching practicum. We, however, offer you the opportunity to arrange your own practicum.

The LTTC Certificate in TEFL is available for fast entry into a career in teaching English as a foreign language with 60 hours approximate study time. Designed for those in a hurry, this initial course and certificate will put you on the road to getting that first job.
