The Recording Arts program is designed for those who want to advance their skills in recording music, sampling sounds and mixing audio. At the completion of this program, you will be able to create, record and edit sound in analog and digital form. Trevecca’s Associate of Arts in recording technology is a two-year program that teaches you the art of recording and audio production. You will be prepared for roles in concert sound, film scores, and video and computer game sound design or for audio production for various types of music. You can tailor the program by concentrating on audio production, audio mastering, or audio for digital cinema.

The Recording Technology Degree Program is a hands-on, career education program which develops critical skills in audio engineering, live sound reinforcement, sound for film, television and gaming.

Upon successful completion, the learner will be awarded the Damelin Short Programme in Sound Recording Practice Certificate.

The Recording Technology Associate Degree Program is designed to prepare the student for transfer to institutions offering a bachelor’s degree in Recording Engineering or for apprenticeships at recording studios and various media venues. The program will teach the student the fundamentals and techniques relative to live concert and studio recording.

This certificate signifies that students have mastered the basic skills of sound reinforcement and recording for live and recorded events. Successful completion will provide a solid basis for future study in sound design and live event reinforcement.

The Associate of Applies Science in Audio Production and Live Sound program offers a degree designed to train producer engineers who are entrepreneurs, musically and technically creative, and proficient in modern recording technology and techniques. In our school’s advanced classes, students hone their creative and technical skills while working with advanced recording, editing technology, mixing and mastering techniques, song arrangement, and the operation and planning of events and corporate productions.

MI’s 4-quarter Artist/Producer/Entrepreneur Certificate program provides the technical knowledge and professional skills you need to survive as an independent recording and performing artist.

This 8-week class focuses on the fundamentals and knowledge every DJ should have. Mechanics, proper technique, history and basic music theory are the emphases in these levels, ensuring that each student has the proper tools and knowledge as they begin their journey in becoming a DJ.

The Audio Production program is designed to respond to the rapidly changing, cross-media and multi-media nature of the entertainment industry.
