Tresham Studios, our commercial hairdressing, barbering, make-up and beauty salons, operate at Corby and Kettering Campuses.

This SVQ is suitable for: Individuals who are currently in employment as a junior stylist and wish to obtain a formal qualification. Employees who wish to obtain short, continuing professional development courses. As the SVQ is a competency based qualification the following applies:

This qualification reflects the role of hairdressers who use a range of well-developed sales, consultation, technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients.

This course is designed for 16-19 year olds. Our Hairdressing course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to access the Hair / Media Industry. Once you have completed your hands-on hairdressing training, you will be industry ready.

The Level 1 Options pathway at the College enables you to choose from a diverse range of courses; Travel and the Visitor Economic, Art & Design, Hair and Beauty, Childcare, Health and Social Care, Business, Digital, Sports Public Services.

This intermediate apprenticeship programme will cover the essential skills and knowledge needed to be a junior basic hairstylist. The course will equip you with the ability to offer a wide range of hair services to clients and will consist of two years of study.

This course is a day release course for Hairdressing apprentices in full time employment with a salon registered under the new National Hairdressing Apprenticeship scheme.
