INTO Manchester's Study Centre has everything you need to successfully live and study in the UK.
You'll find the latest learning technologies. 39 teaching rooms feature digital whiteboards, which allow your teachers to use online resources and you to get involved.
The Centre also features:
- a range of well-equipped computing suites
- free internet access and Wi-Fi throughout
- comfortable break-out areas for private study and relaxing with friends
- a Welcome Desk and the support of our friendly Student Services team
- The Learning Resource Centre is home to 5,000 study support materials, including books, CDs, DVDs, online journals, newspapers, and printing and scanning facilities.
You'll have 24/7 access to our virtual learning environment to download lecture notes and other useful course materials. And you'll also be able to take part in online discussions with teachers and classmates.

Life outside the classroom
As an international student, you can live as part of a vibrant student community in our purpose-built halls of residence. Or why not experience real British life in a family homestay? Both options offer a secure, comfortable environment in which to grow – both academically and as a person.

Social programme with INTO Manchester
The INTO Manchester social programme will make it easy for you to meet new people and get the most out of your new home.
This includes visits to the theatre, cinemas, and other places of interest such as the National Football Museum and Manchester United Football Club.
You can also enjoy trips further afield, including to the beautiful Lake District, Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace), and other cultural destinations across the north west of England.
Want to get involved? You can become a member of the Student Social Committee and form clubs and societies around your own hobbies and interests with the support of INTO Manchester staff.
The International Society
The International Society is a not-for-profit organisation unique to Manchester.
Based just a few minutes’ walk from the INTO Centre, it provides a social and supportive environment for nearly 7,000 international students from over 120 countries studying in Manchester.
The Society arranges weekend trips around the UK, offers more than 65 different classes each week, and organises over 100 different social events throughout the year.
