A rich heritage and bright future
The University has three campuses serving different schools of study, and each has a unique feel. The Park Campus, a former botanical garden, is home to the INTO Centre.
Located in the south of Cheltenham, Park Campus is an idyllic learning environment. The town centre and all its amenities are a 15-minute walk. Set in 24 acres of landscaped grounds, gardens and playing fields. But, there’s more than just a pretty view. Facilities on campus include a refectory, launderette, tennis courts, Students’ Union café bar, medical centre and learning resource centre.

The University of Gloucestershire ranks well in areas that really make a difference such as a student support, employability and teaching. They also rank in the top 20 in five subject areas.
You'll benefit from experienced lecturers with industry experience. You'll have the opportunity to gain work experience during your studies through the University's Degreeplus initiative. Employers look for graduates with work experience. That's why 94% of Gloucestershire graduates find a job or further study within six months of graduation.

Joining a University society is a great way to make new friends and meet people who share your interests. The University has over 50 societies for you to get involved in, covering everything from playing the ukulele to paintballing.
The hub of your first year learning
The INTO Centre is your base for everything you need. It’s the place you’ll work and socialise, with modern classrooms, excellent IT facilities and a cafeteria offering space to chat with your new friends or arrange informal group study.
You’ll find a student experience and accommodation office in the Centre, providing a one-stop shop for support with any non-academic issues. There’s a whole network of people dedicated to supporting you throughout your studies.
Adapting to a new country can be hard, but the Centre has all the things you need to settle into a happy life in the UK. Your classmates and teachers can’t wait to meet you!

What’s here? Everything you need for a happy and successful first year. Your classrooms and student support team are based within the Centre. And, your accommodation will be just a short walk away.
When you need to study, the Centre has spaces for quiet reading and group work. In addition to the campus library, you can use the Centre’s workstations and printing facilities.
INTO University of Gloucestershire services
You’ll attend lectures and seminars in fully equipped, modern classrooms. The University’s virtual learning environment (VLE) supports your studies by offering downloads of course content and lecture notes. You can use the VLE to take part in online discussions with your classmates and teachers. And, back in the real world, the friendly teachers are also available for extra support in person. You just need to ask.
Moving abroad. Studying in the UK. It sounds so exciting, but the reality can also be a bit scary too. That’s ok. You’re not the first to do this and INTO University of Gloucestershire is there for you. They have 10 years’ experience of helping students just like you and they are with you at every step.
They’ll make sure you’re fully prepared before you leave home. You’ll find them in their bright red t-shirts at the airport to pick you up. They’ll arrange a fun first week to help you make friends, get around campus and show you around the local town.
And they’re still there once you’re settled, helping with your course choice or supporting visa and immigration applications.
The language advisers can help if your English level is low when you first arrive. The support staff includes residential assistants within the student residences. You’ll even have an emergency telephone number for 24/7 access to our help. You’re really never far from a member of our friendly student support team.
You can grab breakfast, lunch and dinner at the main campus refectory, and it's a great place to unwind between classes and meet other students. In addition, there's on-campus Starbucks coffee bar open every weekday, as well as a Students' Union bar.
As part of your orientation week, they’ll show you around the local town and all the best places to buy food for cooking at home.
