Established in 2010, Waltham International College is an alternative provider of further and higher education programmes based in Barking, East London. In April 2015, WIC changed its premises and moved from Birmingham to Barking, Essex. WIC is now based at 7th Floor, Crown House, Linton Road, Barking Essex IG11 8HG
The college offers a wide range of programmes from entry level to level 7 in Business Management, Health and Social Care, Child Care and Beauty. The college also offers fully funded programmes (covered by Adult Education Budget) and apprenticeships programmes. We integrate the talents of our learners with their personal visions and aspirations to support them in becoming the authors of their own success.

Waltham International College is based in the heart of Barking. Barking is a suburban town in England and forms part of the London Borough of London Barking and Dagenham. It is 8.8 miles (14.2 km) east of Charing Cross and is one of 35 major centers identified in the London Plan. It was historically a fishing and agrarian settlement in the county of Essex and formed an ancient parish. Its economic history is characterised by a shift to market gardening and industrial development to the south adjacent to the River Thames. As part of the suburban growth of London in the 20th century, Barking significantly expanded and increased in population, primarily due to the development of the London County Council estate at Becontree in the 1920s, and it became a municipal borough in 1931, and part of Greater London in 1965.
Waltham International College is situated in Crown House on 7th Floor and can be accessed via Underground, overground, C2C rail network and a wide range of busses. The college is at a 1-minute walk from the Barking underground, overground and bus station. The Barking Station is on the District, Hammersmith and C2C Line there are frequent and fast services from central London and from areas further east of Barking.
The College is well-connected to the surrounding London boroughs by the many bus routes that pass through Ilford. Bus stops are close to the college. In particular, there are the useful services of 287,366, EL1, 169, and 238.
