Founded in 1965, Craven Community College is a comprehensive community college with campuses in New Bern and Havelock-Cherry Point.

Craven serves more than 3,200 curriculum students and nearly 10,000 continuing education students each year. Craven CC features a wide range of programs, including college transfer courses, career, and occupational offerings, partnerships with four-year universities, specialized workforce training options, developmental studies, and basic skills classes. The College offers associate’s degrees, diplomas, and certificates in many areas. These programs can get you started on a great career or can put you on your way to earning a bachelor’s degree!

The College features an FAA-certified Aviation Systems Technology program as well as a number of healthcare offerings, including Nursing, Medical Assisting, and Health Information Technology. Through University Connections, Craven’s partnerships with East Carolina University, North Carolina State University, and Southern Illinois University, Craven CC graduates have the opportunity to pursue bachelor’s degrees without ever leaving the area.
