The Associate of Arts program is full-time Professional Degree that develops relevant skills in instrumental technique, performance, and musicianship (and/or music production) as they relate to contemporary music styles. Upper level courses personalize your experience beyond instrumental training or music production. As a Professional AA Degree, the AA program does not include general education requirements and may not transfer to another institution. However, the six quarter credits will transfer into LACM’s Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Arts program.
